The Ghana Tennis Federation on Wednesday unveiled rising talent Sisu Tomegah as the first beneficiary of its partnership with New York Square LLC.
Through the initiative, Tomegah will enroll at the XS Tennis Academy in Chicago, where she will train under the guidance of renowned coach Kamau Murray.
Murray, best known for coaching Grand Slam champion Sloane Stephens, will oversee Tomegah’s development in a rigorous one-year elite training program designed to sharpen her technique, strengthen her mental resilience, and prepare her for the global stage.
"This milestone marks a transformative moment in Ghana’s tennis development journey.

"Sisu’s selection is not only proof of her exceptional talent, discipline, and potential, but also a reflection of the Federation’s firm commitment to supporting families who have shown dedication in investing in their ward's tennis careers," the Federation said in a statement signed by President Isaac Aboagye Duah.
The move aligns with the GTF's long-term vision, dubbed, “Pupil to Professional", which aims to produce Ghana’s first top 200 ATP/WTA player by 2030.
