The Technical Director of the French side Bastia, Eric Joel, has described the facilities at Kenpong Football Academy as meeting international standards.
Mr Joel toured the state-of-the-art Kenpong Academy in Winneba following his arrival in Ghana last Friday.
"This is magnificent," he noted. "It matches international standards. I must admit I am highly impressed with what I have witnessed here, considering the capital-intensive nature of projects like this," he remarked.
The Frenchman is visiting Ghana at the invitation of Kenpong, following a collaborative agreement between Kenpong Football Academy and Bastia.

He stated that with the facilities of Kenpong, the agreement would be beneficial to both parties.
"With this facility, I believe our collaborative efforts will reach new heights. I have drawn a lot of positives from this visit and believe it will help our cause."
As part of the collaboration programme, three players from Kenpong Academy are currently with the French club.
Eric Joel, inessman Kennedy Agyepong (Kenpong), and Sudan coach Kwasi Appiah will meet with Minister of Youth Sport, Mustapha Ussif today.
He is also expected to pay a courtesy call to the academy's patron, former president J.A. Kufuor, to discuss the academy's prospects.
Kenpong has promised to continue working closely with the French giants to benefit the academy and Ghanaian football as a whole.
The meeting with the Minister will focus on how Bastia can support the Winneba-based academy and contribute to the development of football in Ghana.
In other news, Kenpong Academy drew 1-1 with Miracle Power FC of Nungua in a friendly match at the Sakumono Astro yesterday.
