The Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has assured chiefs and people of Jamboi that he will prioritise work on their deplorable roads should he win the 2020 elections.
John Dramani Mahama in his campaign message to the people also pledged to complete all E-blocks in the area which has been abandoned by the governing New Patriotic Party.
Addressing the people, he said the next NDC administration is ready to establish a programme known as ‘THE BIG PUSH’ which will require the central government to invest $10 billion for the social and economic sustainability of the citizenry.
He also promised that farmers in the Kpandai constituency will be considered in his next administration, adding that, he will introduce a programme called Farmers Mechanization Centre which 15 tractors will be brought to the centre for the farmer to use for their farming.
On his part, the Chief of Jamboi, Nana Banda called for peace and urged the residents to respect each other’s opinions. “Your voice should be your thumb, do not lift anything to hit your friend because they support a different party. On December 7, just go to your polling station and let your thumb do the talking,” he noted.
