Two-year-old Clara Koryo who was born with a hearing impairment is in need of ¢6,500 in order to secure a hearing aid.
This doctors have said will relatively improve her hearing and enable her to learn to communicate.
Her mother, Vida Anagbla, said due to her daughter’s inability to hear, she also perhaps will not be able to learn human language.
In an interaction with Joy New’s Piesie Nana Yaw Safo, she said, “Clara only makes signs when she needs water. For anything else, she hits me on the body as an indication."
The frustrated mother added that she can only make mumbled speeches when she tries to talk.
According to her, the child’s father died some time ago in his pursuit of further education.
The destitute mother is, therefore, pleading with the general public for financial assistance of the aforementioned price.
Vida Anagbla lives together with her daughter, Clara at Tantra Hills in Accra.
