Hearts of Oak bounced back to winning ways in the betPawa Ghana Premier League on matchday 24 following their win over Accra Lions on Wednesday, March 29.
Linda Mtange scored the only goal of the game at the Accra Sports Stadium with the Phobians recovering well from their 0-3 loss to Accra Lions over the weekend.
King Faisal were winners in a five-goal thriller involving Karela United as they recorded a 3-2 victory to move up the league table.
Samuel Kusi, Abdul Latif and Benjamin Bature were all on target for the Insha Alla lads in midweek.
League leaders Aduana FC failed to make the most of Accra Lions' defeat to Hearts as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Berekum Chelsea away from home. Aduana are now just a point ahead at the top of the log.
Evans Osei-Wusu scored his maiden goal for Samartex as they came from behind to record a 2-1 win over Kotoku Royals at home.
Tamale City were also 2-1 winners over Nsoatreman with Matthew Agama scoring a late winner at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Bechem United moved to second on the league table following their 1-0 win over Dreams FC with Emmanuel Annor scoring the only goal.
On Thursday, March 30, Legon Cities will host Asante Kotoko at El Wak Sports Stadium while Real Tamale United and Accra Great Olympics also fight for all maximum points.
