The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has praised Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson for his presentation of the 2025 budget.
Dr Forson delivered the budget statement to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, outlining the government’s fiscal policies and economic plans for the year.
Following the presentation, Mr Jinapor took to his social media page to express his admiration for the Finance Minister’s work.
In his post, Mr Jinapor commended Dr Forson for delivering a budget that he described as comprehensive and forward-looking.
“You’ve made me proud, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson. Your presentation was not only detailed but also reflected a deep commitment to the economic transformation of our country,” he wrote.
He highlighted the key policies outlined in the budget, particularly those aimed at strengthening Ghana’s energy sector and promoting sustainable development.
The Energy Minister also acknowledged the challenges facing the economy but expressed confidence in the government’s approach to addressing them.
He noted that the budget contained pragmatic solutions that prioritise job creation, infrastructure development, and energy security.
“This budget provides a clear pathway for economic recovery and sustainable growth. I am particularly pleased with the emphasis on renewable energy and local content development,” he added.
Mr Jinapor’s endorsement of the budget presentation reinforces the government’s unified stance on its economic policies.
His remarks also signal strong internal support for the Finance Minister’s strategies as the government seeks to navigate Ghana’s economic landscape in the coming year.
