Villarreal CF midfielder Thomas Partey has earned a call-up to Ghana’s squad for the September FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
Partey, who missed the Black Stars’ recent outing at the 2025 Unity Cup in London, is currently involved in an ongoing legal case in England.
Union Berlin defender Derrick Kohn has also received his first call-up, joining established names such as Alexander Djiku, Jordan Ayew, and Mohammed Kudus.

Ghana will face Chad in N’Djamena on September 4 before returning home to host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.
The Black Stars currently top Group I, three points clear of Comoros in second place and five ahead of Madagascar in third.
