Residents of Breman-Nkwantwima in Kumasi are shocked over the mysterious death of a female teacher whose body was found in her room early Monday morning.
Suspicious neighbours broke into Grace Hammond's room when they could no longer stand the intense foul smell emanating from there only to find her dead.
The deceased owned a micro finance company, GH Money Link.
Her death comes about two weeks after owner of another micro finance firm in Kumasi committed suicide over what is suspected to be pressure from clients.
Nhyira FM's Ohemeng Tawiah told Joy News co-tenants have been asked to vacate the room on health grounds due to the stench emanating from the deceased’s room.
Even though she lived in the house for ten years, Nhyira News gathered, none of the residents or neighbours knows any of her family members. The police are therefore seeking support to identify her relatives.
Teachers and pupils of Kronom M/A Primary School ‘B’ were mourning their dead colleague/teacher when Ohemeng Tawiah visited the school.
The head mistress of the school Ellen Konadu, in tears, said Grace Hammond also known as Efe last reported to school on Wednesday, November 28, 2013.
