Ministerial appraisal team to assess performance of all sector ministers has started work at the Flagstaff House on Monday.
Briefing journalists at the presidency, Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Murtala Mohammed said the assessment will be based on targets presented by the ministers and sanctioned by the presidency in line with the vision of President Mahama. The targets were also in line with the 2013 budget and the 2012 manifesto of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
He explained that what have been submitted by the Ministers are reports on what they have been able to achieve in the year 2013.
He said President John Mahama and his advisors would go through the report “based on what they themselves (ministers) submitted”.
Murtala Mohamed said details of their presentations will be made public.
