Four people were burnt to death in a road accident at Pigu, a small town in the Savelugu Nantom district of the Northern Region yesterday.
The accident occurred when an articulated truck loaded with cement collided with a jeep.
The collision has been linked to poor visibility on the road.
The bodies have since been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
Regional Police spokesperson, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh tells Joy News some of the victims were burnt beyond recognition.
The victims who are yet to be identified included a driver and two females.
