Typically among the middle-class, Christmas without a hamper is like soup with insufficient salt. Something is just not complete about it.
And if your only source of a hamper is from government, your chances, am sorry to say - is bleak. Well,that is in theory.
The President says no hamper for you. Maybe next year.
