Popular host of 'That's My Opinion' on Joy FM, Oyiakehyire Nana Ansah Kwao IV, will take his final oath of office as Adumasa Hene this Sunday January 5, 2014.
Friday January 24, 2014 will be Nana Ansah Kwao IV's 3rd anniversary as chief of Adumasa, and as traditional protocol demands, he will take his final oath of office to officially introduce him to the Akwamu Paramouncy.
He will take the oath of office at the Paramount Seat of Akwamu this Sunday January 5, 2014.
He will take the Sword of Honor and Swear to Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, Paramount Chief of Akwamu. The event starts exactly at 8:30am on the day.
As a chief with a palanquin status, Nana Ansah Kwao IV will ride in a palanquin to the forecourt of the Palace with the full ensemble of Bomaa and Kete drums.
He will also introduce his sub chiefs to the Paramount Chief of Akwamu .
The day is expected to be full of colour and pure beauty as the arrival of the Commonwealth Olympic baton coincides with the day.
The Commonwealth Olympic baton is currently being taken round palaces of chiefs across the country as part of activities to kickstart the event to be hosted in Glasgow, Scotland.
Before the baton moves to Agbogbomefia, Torgbe Afede XIV in Ho in the Volta Region, it will be presented to the Paramount Chief of Akwamu, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III.
The event will serve as a good education and fun day out for families and children to see one of Ghana's tradition and culture at its best.
The Paramount Chief and people of Akwamu entreats everybody to come and witness the grand occasion.
