Police in Kade have secured a court order to bond all feuding parties in an ongoing chieftaincy dispute in the area to good behavior.
Persons arrested for breaking this bond of good behavior will serve a one month sentence in prison, Joy News' Eastern Region correspondent Kofi Siaw has disclosed.
The bond follows tensions and minor skirmishes triggered by the installation of a chief in Akyem Nkwantanan, a community near Kade in the Eastern Region.
A family head, Kweku Ewusi, who was alleged to have conspired with the Queen Mother to install a chief, was assaulted by an aggrieved family which claimed the chief installed was not the rightful heir to the throne.
The queen mother for the area Nana Abena Frempomaa and some close relations also fled the town for fear of being attacked.
Tension was beginning to rise in the area forcing the police to take action to restore order.
Meanwhile, the Divisional Chief of Wenchi in the Eastern Region, Daasebre Nyarko Asumadu Appiah has summoned the two feuding parties to a meeting Saturday.
The meeting would discuss how to find a long lasting solution to the dispute and would at 1:00 pm, Kofi Siaw has revealed.
