Multimedia Group Limited (MGL), the parent company of Joy FM, has lined up an array of personalities for its remembrance service of the late iconic broadcaster, Komla Dumor

The former Joy FM Super Morning Show and BBC "Focus on Africa" host died at age 41.  

The three-hour service, dubbed 'Multimedia Remembers Komla with Music & Poetry', will eulogize the impeccable credentials of Komla Dumor who has been roundly acknowledged as one of Ghana and Africa's greatest talents.

This evening's event, scheduled to start at 5:30 at the Joy FM Car Park will entail musical performances, poetry recitals and surmons from some of Ghana's finest musicians, poets and religious leaders.

Performing will be Tagoe Sisters, Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, Asem, Edem, Okyeame Kwame, Samini, Celestine Donkor, and Joe Mettle & Adelaide Boateng Okyere.

The General Overseer of Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM), Archbishop Duncan-Williams will take charge of the night's exhortation while Prof Atukwei Okai will unveil a special poem written in honour of Komla Dumor.

There will be special sessions where former staff of Joy FM including Mawuko Zormelo and Samuel Atta-Mensah will share memories of their years with Komla Dumor, who was also known as the 'Boss Player'.

The memories will not be complete without those of Bukom Banku and Aziz. Chief Executive Officer of MGL, Kwasi Twum will present a special eulogy to the 'Boss Player'.

MCs for the night will be Doreen Andoh, Bola Ray, Matilda Asante, Azigiza Jnr, Ivy Heward-Mills, Kwasi Anim-Adjei, Tommy Annan-Forson, and Rev Owusu Ansah.
