Ghana's coronavirus cases have jumped to 52, the Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman Manu announced on Tuesday.
According to him, some 1,030 travellers into the country from Sunday were quarantined as a result of the jump in recorded cases.
Of that number, 611 samples were taken.
A test for 185 of the travellers completed disclosed that 25 of them have Covid-19, he told journalists at the press conference in Accra.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Information Minister, said testing is still ongoing for all the arrivals who have been quarantined.
This means the numbers could rise.
The quarantine is part of directives from the Jubilee House on Sunday.
President Nana Akufo-Addo, in a live telecast, said all of Ghana's borders, air, sea, and land are closed.
The move is to stop the importation of the Covid-19 into the country. The closure would, however, not affect cargo.
