The General Overseer of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Reverend Ransford Obeng, has rallied Christians to take part in Wednesday's fasting and prayer session declared by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to the preacher, the very important thing faith-based organisations can do to help the country as it battles the dreaded coronavirus pandemic is to pray.
Addressing the media on Tuesday morning, Reverend Obeng said prayer changes everything.

He noted that the Bible is replete with examples where God changed situations men felt was insurmountable.
"I am confident that as a church and faith-based organisation when we rally behind the nation with prayer God will turn this coronavirus calamity away from us," Rev Obeng said.
Government directives on churches
The CCC leader urged the church to abide by the directives as explicitly expressed by the President on how citizens must conduct themselves in the face of the outbreak of the viral disease.
He noted that keeping the body clean and observing the basic health guides were as godly as worshipping God.
Rev Obeng also asked the church to abide by the directive of the President limiting movements and the assemblage of people.
He acknowledged the challenges the church was facing owing to the ban on public gatherings but insisted that the country was not in ordinary times.
"If anyone says the church is not suffering because of the ban on gatherings and church meetings the person would be lying but this is the time the church has to sacrifice to save its members as well as pray for the nation," Rev Obeng stressed.
Prayer for help
Reverend Obeng called on Christians to stay calm and pray while they wait on God for a solution to the viral disease.
He said it is possible for God to grant wisdom and knowledge to the country's health and research officers to enable them to come up with a vaccine to deal with the coronavirus disease.
This, he noted, would also be a breakthrough for the country since other countries would be turning to Ghana for assistance.
"While we pray for God to spare us the spread of the viral disease we should also ask God to help us break through with a solution and a possible vaccine to deal with coronavirus", the CCC leader urged.
