Each of the 10,000 health and allied professionals in the frontline of the fight against COVID-19 have been given life insurance cover, the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu has announced.
In a communique to the government agencies whose staff have been engaged, the Minister thanked the frontline workers and their families for their sacrifice to the nation during this critical period.

As Ghana hastens to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic which has already infected 141 and claimed five lives, government has imposed a partial lockdown in selected cities across the country.
The restriction in movement of persons in Accra, Tema and some parts of the Central Region takes effect from Monday, March 30.
President Akufo-Addo has cautioned that anyone who flouts the rules will be severely dealt with.
