Promasidor Producers of cowbell and other range of products has donated ¢300,000 worth of products and cash to the Covid-19 Trust Fund and other relevant institutions as part of support to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
Presenting part of the donation at a short ceremony held at the office the Covid-19 National Trust Fund Thursday, Andrews Bodom, Human Manager for Promasidor Ghana lauded government’s effort in the Covid-19 fight.

He further stated that the fight against Covid-19 was a collective one and that is why Pomasidor in addition to other ongoing community initiatives is embarking on this special donation to the Fund and other frontline institutions.
A cash component of ¢70,000 in addition to ¢60,000 worth of product making a total of ¢130,000 was presented to the Fund.
Speaking in a media interview, Marketing manager, Shine Torsoo acknowledge the difficulties that have arisen as a result of the pandemic and the need for corporate intuitions to continually support government effort in addressing the challenges.

He further expressed commitment by Promasidor to constantly support government in these tough times.
He also took the opportunity to state that the rest of the ¢150,000 will be donated as products to the frontline workers which include identified hospitals.
The former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo who received the items thanked the company and assured that they will be put to good use.
Some of the beneficiary hospitals are the Greater Accra Regional Police, which has already been done, the Ashanti Regional Police and the military.
