Promasidor Ghana through its flagship brand, Cowbell organised a 20-km fun and non-competitive bike caravan for over 800 passionate cyclists in Tamale, cementing the brand’s connection towards the community and sustainable living.

The 20km-ride which started from the Jubilee Park, had cyclists ride through the Central Market, Sakasaka Road, Agric Traffic Light, Aliu Mahama Stadium, Lamashegu Roundabout, Tamale Teaching Hospital and back to the Jubilee Park.
This is part of activities to commemorate its 25-year journey.

Speaking at the event, Promasidor Ghana’s Marketing Manager, Michael Hagan reiterated Cowbell’s support towards lesser-known sports and cycling over the years in addition to promoting healthy lifestyles and the relevance of good nutrition daily.

He further congratulated all participants for partaking in the cycling event which also saw some lucky cyclists being rewarded with mountain bicycles, riding helmets, riding jerseys, hampers, and T-shirts, amongst others.

The participants were energised and hydrated throughout the 20-km course by Twisco Chocolate drink, a new addition to the Promasidor family.

Promasidor Ghana Limited (PGH) has been a leading food manufacturing company providing quality food products for the past 25 years following the launch of its first brand, Cowbell in 1999.

Since then, the company has pioneered beverage brands such as Cowbell Strawberry, Cowbell Coffee and Cowbell Chocomalt amongst others.

Promasidor further exemplified its diverse manufacturing prowess following the launch of its Onga Powder and Tablets variants in 2003 and 2011 respectively.

Promasidor is also a major player in the Infant Cereal category with the Yum Vita brand which was launched in 2014.
