The Ghana Health Service has confirmed 498 new Covid-19 cases increasing the overall total to 10,856.
On its Covid-19 webpage, the Service indicated that 97 more people have recovered from the disease, leaving that tally at 3,921.
The death toll is still 48 as no new losses have been recorded since the previous updates.

However, 16 of the cases are severe, six are in critical condition out of which four are on ventilators.
Giving a breakdown of the figures, the Service noted that Greater Accra has the highest confirmed cases with a 6,791 case count.
Ashanti follow with 1,905 while the Western region which is now the country’s epicentre has recorded 96 new cases taking the count to 874.
Central region has 212, Eastern, 204; Upper East, 128; Western North, 79; Oti, 47 and Northern 37.
The rest are Upper West, 22; Bono East, 13; North East, two, Savannah, one; Bono one and Ahafo one.
