Bulgarian top-flight side Ludogorets have announced the signing of striker Bernard Tekpetey from Schalke 04 on a two-year loan deal, with an option to buy.
Tekpetey will continue his career in Bulgaria after a difficult 2019-20 campaign in Germany.
Tekpetey, who was a member of Ghana's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations squad, spent the season on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf.
He endured a difficult time, making just nine league appearances as Dusseldorf suffered relegation from the Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old returned to his parent club, Schalke who have decided to send him out on another loan.
Ludogorets announced the deal after Tekpetey passed his medical on Thursday.
"Thank you for the warm welcome. My first impressions of Ludogorets are great," Tekpetey told the club website.
"I will not have problems with adaptation. I know Cauly[teammate at SC Paderborn] I hope to achieve my goals in my new team," he added.
Tekpetey has been capped two times by Ghana since his debut in 2017.
