It's that time of the year when EA Sports unveil the ratings of over 17,000 footballers in a new FIFA game.
That large group of players involves Ghanaian players but more surprisingly, none of them made the top 100 rated players in the game.
Even more surprising, is the fact that Southampton's Mohamed Salisu, Crystal Palace's Jordan Ayew and Swansea's Andre Ayew missed out on the top 5 highest rated Ghanaian players.
Salisu enjoyed his best campaign thus far with Real Valladolid, winning 33 tackles, making 36 interceptions and winning 75 aerial duels in La Liga last season. His performances saw Southampton pay his release clause to ensure that the 21-year-old will be at the St. Mary's next season.
Jordan scored nine goals in the Premier League sweeping three awards at the end of season awards ceremony for Palace, whilst Andre scored 18 goals in the Championship also winning four awards at the end of year awards for Swansea.
Nonetheless, here is the ranking of the top 5 highest rated Ghanaian players in FIFA 21:
1. Thomas Partey - 84

Thomas Partey led the way by a mile being the only Ghanaian in the 80s. The Atletico Madrid midfielder enjoyed a fruitful campaign in La Liga, scoring three goals.
2. Kwadwo Asamoah - 78

Kwadwo Asamoah saw limited game time this season under Antonio Conte after suffering recurrent injuries. As a result, he was only fit enough to play eight games in Serie A, providing one assist.
3. Kevin Prince-Boateng - 78

Kevin Prince-Boateng enjoyed two different spells last season; the first with Fiorentina where he scored six goals in 14 appearances and then in Besiktas where he also scored six goals in 11 appearances.
4. Emmanuel Boateng - 77

Emmanuel Boateng enjoyed a productive season in China with Dalian Professional scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 21 league games for Rafa Benitez's side.
5. Frank Acheampong - 77

Frank Acheampong arguably had the season of his life in China as he scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 31 league games for Tianjin Teda. A performance that saw him named as the first ever Ghanaian to captain a Chinese club.
