The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Asiedu Nketia has promised residents of the Amansie South District in the Ashanti Region that the next Mahama government will fix the deplorable roads in the area should they win the 2020 elections.
This comes after some residents of the area complained about the poor road network connecting Manso-Adubia, Manso-Keniago and its environs.
The agitated youth said they were disappointed in the Akufo-Addo government and are willing to vote for the flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama.
According to them, although the New Patriotic Party always wins both presidential and parliamentary seat in the area, President Akufo-Addo has not implemented any developmental project in the area.
However, Mr Nketia promised to change the tedious situation in the constituency should the NDC under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama regain the presidential seat on December 7.
He stressed that the NDC is the only party that is genuinely concerned about the plight of the citizenry and will heed their call when they are in government.
The General Secretary also appealed to traditional leaders and residents to consider their current sufferings and vote in favour of the NDC in the 2020 elections.
