In line with the directive from President Nana Akufo-Addo, schools across the country have resumed as of Monday, January 18, 2021.

But this directive has been met with mixed reactions as most parents have expressed worry about their wards going back to school in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

In his latest update on Sunday, January 17, the President had revealed that the country now has over 1,900 active Covid-19 cases, with an average daily record of 200 infections in the past two weeks.

Also, treatment centres are full of patients, and the number of patients requiring hospitalisation and intensive care has risen sharply from 18 to 120 in just a week, with 33 critical cases among those.

But although the government said the required steps have been taken to ensure the safety of students in school and also the heads of institutions, as well as their teachers, many remain skeptical.

Why won't Nana Addo, hold on and observe the situation before opening up schools. Or he want the school children to get the infection and Al's infecte their parents before he closed them? This is just a common sense.

1.Teaching
2. Guiding and monitoring students to obey all covid 19 protocols.

This covid-19 was bound to spread in Ghana when the boarders were still opened to people coming from the UK and other countries who started reporting the new covid-19 variant. Nana Addo should've closed e boarders in December 2020. Chances of we going 2 school is in jeopardy now.
