Another accident at Sarikura in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah region has claimed two lives and injured 14 others.
Joy News' Isaac Nongya said casualties of Wednesday's accident included a nine-year-old girl who suffered a fractured leg.
The accident involves another Garu to Kumasi bond KIA bus. The bus has the registration number GR 7287-21.
The Savannah Regional Commander of Ghana National Fire Service, ACFO Kwesi Baffour Awuah who confirmed the incident to the Joy News reporter said the accident occurred around 10 pm.
He said a rescue team from his outfit was quickly called to the scene and they helped to convey those injured to the Holistic Medicare Hospital.
ACFO Baffour Awuah said the bus upon reaching Sarikura and at the same spot where two buses collided on February 8, burst one of its front tyres forcing it onto the ground.
He said one person died on the spot while the second person died at the Holistic Medicare Hospital at Buipe.
Those injured are currently receiving treatment at the same Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Savannah regional police command and the traditional leaders from Sarikura, Buipe and Fufulso will be addressing the media on what is becoming a trend.
