The Vice Chairman of Parliament Communication Committee, however, stated that he is uncertain about the policing of the neighbourhood in which the incident occurred adding that "in a neighbourhood like this, you will have to have a police officer policing two or three young people playing in the vicinity."
Mr Tetteh also wants the use of media spaces to propagate get-rich-quick messages to becomes a thing of the past.
“We need to have a law to regulate content in the media space,” he said.
Mr Tetteh further called for the intensification of security in Ghana.
"Ghana is a big country which hosts a lot of people does not mean we have to lose our guard as far as security is concerned because of influx of our neighbours coming into this country. So for me, I think that we must as a matter of fact intensify our security,” he said.
The MP advised the people in the community to be each other’s keeper in order to prevent such awful incident from occurring in the future.
“We must as a country and community be our neighbours keeper and as parent as we raise our kids, we must look out for straighten our kids and refer them for assistance.”
