The Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini, has accepted the request by Parliament's Privileges Committee, to provide evidence on the case against Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong for instigating attacks against JoyNews reporter, Erastus Asare Donkor.
This follows an invitation by the Committee of Privileges through a letter signed by Principal Assistant Clerk, Akua Durowaa Owusu-Agyekum, addressed to Alhassan Suhuyini, requesting his presence on Thursday, August 5, for the hearing of the case against Mr Agyapong.
The letter dated July 28, stated, "I have been directed by the Chairman of the Committee to kindly request you, being the complainant in this case, to furnish the Committee with evidence of the alleged misconduct prior to the meeting. You are also invited to attend upon the Committee to assist in its deliberations. The Committee counts very much on your kind cooperation in this regard."
Taking to his social media platform, Mr Suhuyini stated: "I'm ready to testify, Mr Chairman! Thank you. See you next week Thursday #I'mKaaka."
