Economic Professor Eric Osei Assibey and author, Comfort Ocran, have been sworn in by President Akufo-Addo as members of the reconstituted Governing Board of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) at Jubilee House.

Friday's swearing-in also included Dr Maxwell Opoku-Afari, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana; Elsie Addo Awadzi, Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana and Charles Kofi Adu Boahen, Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance.
Also sworn in was Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh, IBM's first woman and African Executive Director/Regional Head for IBM North, East and West Africa.

Other were Dr Kwame Owusu-Nyantekyi, Dr Samuel Nii-Noi Ashong, Jude Kofi Bucknor, Joseph Blignam Alhassan, Andrew Adinorte Boye-Doe, Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh and Dr Regina Adutwum.
The Board is chaired by Dr Ernest Addison, Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
The Governing Board is responsible for formulating policies for the achievement of the Bank’s objectives.
