The Police administration has announced the deployment of a special team to the Kasoa-Buduburam-Winneba road, especially on weekends.
This is according to a statement signed by the Assistant Commissioner of police, AG. Director-General, Public Affairs on Sunday, is to help regulate traffic situations along the stretch.
As part of the remedy, the police will be working with the Local Assemblies in the area.

All drivers who ply that route are, therefore, encouraged to follow the Road Traffic Regulations and desist from any malpractices on the road “as defaulters would be arrested and prosecuted.”
“We apologise for the inconvenience suffered by users of that route, especially during yesterday,” the statement indicated.
