Hundreds of residents and corporate institutions within Kumasi are expected to participate in the Luv and Nhyira FM Fitness Walk this Saturday in the Garden City.
The health and wellness event will take off from the Kumasi City Mall with an aerobic session.
Some participating businesses are already promising exciting packages for patrons. Participants of the exercise will be walking through selected streets in Kumasi.
The event is to get corporate Kumasi fit and healthy for a productive 2022. The walk also seeks to strengthen the bond between Luv/Nhyira FM and listeners.
It also offers opportunities for socialization and business networking.

“Come with your friends and family to the Kumasi City Mall this Saturday. Let’s walk for good health. We will all have opportunities to socialize and network,” Eric Inkoom, Coordinator of the Fitness Walk assured.
The Fitness Walk involves exercises and aerobic sessions led by Phillip Kweku, senior gym instructor at the Pulse Fitness Gym.
He is expected to take participants through some physical fitness tips.
“This is no competition. You exercise and walk at your own pace. Afterwards there will be stretching and an aerobic session. Ambulances will be around to carry you, in case you get tired,” he said.

Some businesses sponsoring the event are looking forward to connecting and treating participants to some goodies.

“ KoKoWura is poised to serve you with breakfast at the event. Come enjoy yourselves and let us have fun. There are varieties of meals that will be served,” Abigail Amoakowaah Bekoe, CEO Kokowura said.
“Izwe Saving and Loans Company will set up stands in a bid to interact with SMEs or individuals at the event. For anything relating to finances, kindly pass by our stands," William Majeed Mahama, Area Manager, North, Izwe Savings and Loans said.
