The Ministry of Youth and Sports is urging the senior national team to put up a fighting spirit in its match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria tonight.
According to the Ministry, perseverance is key because "it is anticipated that the match would be a tough one."
The Ministry made the urgent plea to the Black Stars ahead of their decisive encounter against the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
For the Sports Ministry, it is optimistic that the Black Stars would not disappoint as they know the passion that Ghanaians carry in the game of football.

"As crucial as the match is, we believe in the ability and competence of the Management, technical team and players to bring glory to the motherland with a resounding victory in the play-off," it added.
Meanwhile, Ghanaians have been urged to throw their unflinching support as they have always done to help boost the players' morale.
The Sports Ministry believes this will help the Black Stars to deliver a good result in both matches slated for the Kumasi Sports Stadium and the Mashood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, respectively.
