Actor and politician John Dumelo is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax.
In a video shared on YouTube on Wednesday, he revealed that he was informed about some rumours making the rounds claiming he had died during the weekend.
John Dumelo stated that the news is fake. He assured his fans and followers that he is not only alive but healthy.
“I've had a lot of calls, and people have sent me messages about some fake news on YouTube saying that I'm dead. It's not true; I'm still alive. Today is the 13th of April, 2022. I'm still alive, so just ignore this fake news and let's all move forward in the Lord," John Dumelo said.
The actor chastised individuals who spread the story, adding that circulating false rumours is not the right approach to get content for a platform.
Such news, he added, only gets people who care for others worried.
John Dumelo stated, "I just hope and pray that these unscrupulous individuals who make up such trick stories would be brought to justice. I'm alive and kicking. You have nothing to worry about.”
