For Muslims, the Holy Month of Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and growth, and to help those in need.
It is in this light that the Chief Executive Officer of Microfinace and Small Loans Center(MASLOC), Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah, her Deputies, the Board and Management made a donation of some food items to the National Chief Imam at his residence in Accra, to support the Muslim community in this holy month.
The items included 40 bags of rice, 15 cartons of milk, 10 cartons of milo, five boxes of tea and a cash amount of ¢5,000.
Hajia Abibata, reiterated MASLOC’s mission to support micro and small scale businesses, especially those owned by the youth and women, explaining the institution's readiness to assist as many individuals as possible to improve their livelihoods.
She also appealed to the Chief Imam to continue in the spirit of this holy month of Ramadan, to pray for continued peace and prosperity for the country, as well as the growth of MASLOC
The Chief Imam, Shiekh Osumanu Nuhu Sharubutu, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the CEO and her team for extending such a noble gesture to the Muslim community in this holy month.
MASLOC will continue in its efforts to improve as many lives within its reach.
