Musician Fameye says his hit song ‘Praise’ has been one of the biggest songs from his catalogue so far.
According to the singer, the song has earned him lots of money, brand deals and has essentially made a huge impact on his life.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Fameye said that before the release of the song, he prayed to God to ensure it speaks to the lives of people even if it does not become a commercial success.
He explained that as the song rose in prominence, so did his belief and faith in God as almost everything he prayed for came to fruition.
Fameye said 'Praise' and the subsequent 'Songs of Peter' album are a manifestation of what he wants his life and future to be like.
“Praise came, the people I met, the money and deals I got…I did a lot of things because of Praise, it really turned my life around," he said on Monday.
The 'Nothing I Get' hitmaker added that "anything I said inside is a manifestation. It made me believe more in God. Even though God has been there for me always, this was too special. That is also the time I met Wizkid.”
Fameye said his struggles and past lives are all influenced by the tracks on his ‘Songs of Peter' album.
He explained that he shudders to recall his past these days because it brings him so much pain.
Fameye noted that he puts everything about his past in his music now.
The musician says he wants to work hard enough to not return to that life of struggle and poverty.
