Football legend Samuel Eto'o will be visiting the studios of Joy 99.7FM this weekend as part of his multi-day tour of Ghana.
He will be interviewed on the Joy Sports Link show on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
Eto'o, widely regarded as the greatest African player of all time, is expected in Ghana late on Thursday night in his capacity as a Qatar Legacy Ambassador to engage with the football federation, supporters and media.
The decorated former player, who is now also President of the Cameroon Football Association, will spend two days on these official interactions.
He comes into the country from Senegal, where he had a similar itinerary, and before then, his native Cameroon. Together with Ghana, these three nations are those to have qualified for the upcoming 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar from sub-Sahara Africa.
The Qatar Legacy team say this visit is to relay the uniqueness of their country hosting the world and to engage fans on the experiences to be had during the tournament.
