The Accra Metropolitan Health Inspectors are processing the necessary documents to prosecute executive members of the Neoplan Station branch of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) for sanitation offences.
The team arrested two persons who work for a facility management company which is responsible for the lorry terminal for their failure to keep the terminal clean.
Earlier on, the environmental officers led by Mr. Joseph Asitanga held an interactive workshop with drivers and executives of the station to school them on how to manage waste generated from vehicles where drivers had the opportunity to ask questions.
