Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu, says his side was affected by the early goal conceded against Great Olympics in the Mantse derby.
The two teams faced each other on Sunday, September 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium in match day two of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League season.
Abdul Razak Yussif scored the opening goal of the game for the Wonder Club after eight minutes before Konadu Yiadom netted in the 90th minute to ensure Hearts picked up their first point of the season.
Quizzed on his assessment of the derby, Boadu said, "Both teams played well but we conceded too early so we couldn't do what we wanted to do during the game."
"But I thank the boys for the momentum we gathered to cancel out the goal."
With the result on Sunday, the Phobians have one point from two games played following the opening day defeat to Aduana Football Club.
