Management of GCB Bank Plc has assured of its commitment to provide competitive and affordable credit to its customers in a bid to cushion them in the wake of the current economic situation in the country.
According to the Managing Director, Kofi Adomakoh providing a conducive environment for individuals and businesses is one of bank’s key functions, hence it will not relent on its mandate to provide cheaper and affordable loans to its customers.
Kofi Adomakoh gave this assurance after interacting with staff and customers of the bank as part of this year’s customer service week celebration.
“These are very difficult times and this is not a time when the bank can afford to lend below certain rate. We are in business to serve our customers, but we must also remain profitable. But we are also mindful about our customers and how much they can cope in terms of increasing interest rates”.
“So, we are mindful of that. If you check on the market today and do a survey, you will find out that, we are the most economically competitively priced business today in terms of loans we give to our customers. Many banks are much higher than GCB today”, he mentioned
He explained that his outfit will continue to offer customer centric services, whislt providing tailor made products to customers.
“The greatest thing that we do is to make sure that there is value in the service that we provide. Customers are prepared to pay but is the values that they get out of the service. We have a role to play in ensuring that we return to normalcy and GCB will definitely do that”, he added.
