All events that ensued over the past two sittings have led to this day.
Ken Ofori-Atta was the next to appear before the 8-member committee considering the censure motion against him.
In his opening statement, the Finance Minister made a passionate submission to the members while flanked by his legal counsel on Day 3.

According to him, it is unfortunate that the censure motion was brought against him, but acknowledges how it has strengthened democracy.
He said he was prepared to prioritize the truth to remove any unfounded doubts about his motives and character.
Ken Ofori-Atta also apologised to Ghanaians for the hardship being suffered in recent times and called for stakeholder support in addressing them.
