Some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have celebrated former President John Mahama as he marks his 64th birthday.
In a statement, the Youth Alliance for JM described Mr Mahama as a patriotic leader who has the country at heart.
“He deserves this honor. A man with a heart of a mother and a mastermind of a father. Who stands firm in the face of difficulty and catered for his country like no other.
“Happy birthday the people’s person. The humble servant and visionary,” parts of the birthday message read.
The Alliance further stressed that his devotion to Ghana led him to embark on numerous projects while in office.
Among others the group indicated that a number of roads, water and health projects, were undertaken during his tenure.
These infrastructures, they say, have contributed immensely to the development of the country
