Ghana’s home-based national team, the Black Galaxies, have arrived in Constantine in the North-Eastern part of Algeria from the capital, Algiers, ahead of the start of the 2022 Championship of African Nations.
The team has been camping in the capital for eight days before departing on Thursday morning to their base, where they will play their group stage games.
Annor Walker’s side will now be acclimatizing themselves to the environment ahead of their first game of the competition on Sunday against Madagascar.
The Black Galaxies will now play two group games, instead of three because Morocco has officially withdrawn from the competition because of a flight standoff with Algeria.
Ghana will take on Sudan in their second Group C game on Thursday, January 19, four days after the first against Madagascar.
