Nigerian musician, Davido is ready to end his months-long hiatus from the music industry following the death of his son.
The singer/songwriter on Tuesday took to his Twitter page to announce the arrival of his new album.
The project titled Timeless is expected to drop on March 31, he noted.
In a post about the album, he wrote: “There is a time for everything. A time to Grieve and a time to Heal. A time to Laugh and a time to Dance. A time to Speak & A time for Silence. Thank you to everyone out there for your love and that has held me down. My next album TIMELESS is here."
All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all.
Today, I want to remind you all that what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new.— Davido (@davido) March 21, 2023
Davido stated that he appreciates all the messages, goodwill, love and gifts his fans sent throughout his time away.
The post was accompanied by a video of Davido showing him in different stages of his life - during his early career, at a concert, among others.
This is Davido’s first music project since the death of his three-year-old son Ifeanyi.
