After weeks of fierce educational contests, the fourth edition of the Luv FM Primary Schools Quiz has reached its semi-final stage.
The annual competition has seen primary school children in the Ashanti Region display great intellect in general knowledge, science, maths Ghana month questions and spelling B.
Thirty-six schools qualified for the contest after auditions. After almost a month of preliminary and quarter-final contests, nine schools have qualified for the semi-final stage which takes off on Monday.

Meanwhile, all nine qualified schools are optimistic about victory ahead of the semi-final contest.
The contest has seen a fierce and impressive performance from all 36 schools participating in the fourth edition of the Luv FM Primary school quiz.
The preliminary stage pruned the number to 24 schools who battled it out for nine slots in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will feature Hancy Gold Community school, Amazing Grace school, Divine Mission Academy, The Ridge School, Promise International school, Matta Davi Basic School, Martyrs of Uganda preparatory school, St. Louis Jubilee and defending champions, Manna International School.

Quiz Master, Erastus Asare Donkor believes the contest has been fantastic.
“I will say this edition has been very fantastic. The performances we are seeing a very impressive” he said.
He calls on public schools to join the contest going forward.

“Going forward, we call on public schools to be inclusive. GES are partners and therefore it will be very much delighted to have all public schools also joining us,” he added.
He encouraged qualified schools to be confident as they move to the next stage of the contest.

Pupils of Matta Davi Basic school and Martyrs of Uganda preparatory school, believe the contest has widened their knowledge. They say, the experiences throughout previous contests are amazing and expect victory ahead of the semi-finals.
Patrons of some qualified schools are optimistic about winning the fourth edition of the primary school quiz.
