Founder of Divine Word International Ministries, Bishop John Adonteng Boateng has demonstrated his commitment to empowering the underprivileged in society by awarding fully sponsored educational scholarships to deserving students in the United States of America.
In partnership with Hylton High School, Bishop Adonteng has provided an opportunity for black minority students to pursue higher education, thereby paving the way for their future success.
This philanthropic work, known as the "Unknown Stars Award," recognizes students who exhibit the passion and determination to be changemakers in their communities, and offers them the necessary platform to realize their dreams.
This is the second time that Bishop Adonteng, a highly respected spiritual leader in the United States, has embarked on this noble initiative, which has already yielded outstanding results. In addition to supporting the education of deserving students, Bishop Adonteng has also undertaken numerous social responsibilities, including feeding and clothing the homeless in the US.
As a testament to his commitment to improving the lives of the underprivileged, Bishop Adonteng recently commissioned an ultra-modern orphanage home in Ghana called the "Divine Privileged Home."
This state-of-the-art facility will provide education and healthcare for over 200 orphans and widows, ensuring that they are equipped to achieve their full potential.
During his recent visit to Ghana, Bishop Adonteng was honored to meet with several prominent figures, including former President John Agyekum Kufour, current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and Accra Mayor Madam Elizabeth Sackey. They discussed his plans to help the underprivileged in Ghanaian society and other developmental agenda he has for the country.
Bishop Adonteng's unwavering commitment to philanthropy and education has earned him widespread admiration and respect. His work is a shining example of how individuals can make a significant impact in the lives of others and contribute to the greater good of society.
