Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has become the latest to add his voice to the increasing concerns in Ghana's football.
According to the former U-20 World Cup winner, it's very alarming the rate at which the game seems to be declining with each year that passes by.
Ghana suffered yet another setback on Friday night as the Black Meteors exited the ongoing U-23 Africa Cup Nations following the draw against Guinea.
Speaking on Joy FM, Badu called for the Ghana Football Association to treat with urgency the alarming issues regarding the sport in Ghana.
“When I talk, I don’t get anything from it, but I’m talking because the sport that gave me something, is about to die and I can’t just look on," he said.
"The GFA needs to organize an emergency meeting tomorrow and take stock of what’s happening. Where our football is heading is dangerous.
"Ghana football is in dangerous times. If care isn't taken, in a couple of years, qualification to major competitions may become problematic."
Badu's concerns follow that of Derek Boateng who also spoke on Joy FM earlier on Saturday, July 1, branding the GFA as clueless.
