Rev. Monsignor Simon Assamoah, the Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Parish, Enchi in the Western North Region has celebrated the 40th anniversary of his call into the service of God.
Following his ordination on July 24, 1983, Rev. Msgr. Assamoah has served in many parishes across the country.
In an interview with Adom News, he said he has contributed to the development of the church and individuals' social, spiritual, and emotional well-being. He further described his journey in the priesthood as successful.
He further advised the young and newly ordained priests to be determined with the word of God and not to follow worldly pleasures which are far off the target of the call into the priesthood.
On his part, the Bishop of the Sehwi Wiawso Diocese, Most Rev. Samuel Nkuah-Boateng said the Catholic Church in the region is gradually working towards its vision of impacting lives.
