Olympique Lyon manager Laurent Blanc says Ghana international Ernest Nuamah will be unveiled this week ahead of his big-money move from FC Nordsjaelland.
Nuamah is set to become the French side's most expensive player this summer in a deal which will be worth €30 million.
The Ghanaian completed his medical tests and all other formalities involved last week after flying to France with his management from Denmark.
The official announcement is the only thing missing from the deal but fears of a collapse have been dismissed by Blanc who has revealed the forward is already in Lyon.
"He’s already in Lyon. I think [this] week he’ll officially be a Lyon player," the French manager said when asked about the 19-year-old after the league game against OGC Nice on Sunday evening.
"He is a player that will bring what he’s capable of bringing. He is a player with a lot of power. He is a young player, a very young player, but he also brings us a bit of competition. Bringing competition to every position is a good thing for everyone. The more competition, the better things will be."
Nuamah is expected to join Lyon in an initial loan deal with the obligation to permanently sign him at the end of the season.
He is expected to pen a deal with the Ligue 1 side until 2028, becoming the latest Ghanaian to play for the French club after Abedi Pele, John Mensah and Michael Essien.
The pacy forward has missed Nordsjaelland's last three games across all competitions as nears his much-anticipated move.
