It is understood that besides having African football legend Yaya Touré at Liège, the 23-year-old is excited about the move because of the presence of Carl Hoefkens - the two worked together at Brugge.
Frazer Robertson, who worked with Sowah at Right to Dream academy in his early days, is also at the club.
Sowah, part of the 26-man Black Stars squad at the last World Cup, is leaving Club Brugge for better playing time after featuring 27 times in the Belgian top flight last season. He managed four assists, scoring none.
The player will look to rediscover his form once again after struggling in the latter part of the previous season at Brugge which saw him lose his place.
