Former Hearts of Oak striker, Yaw Preko, is calling for patience with new coach Martin Koopman after a jerky start to the season.
The Phobians, lost 1-0 to Real Tamale United in their season opener before bouncing back with a narrow win against Nsoatreman on week two.
According to Preko, the Dutch manager needs time to build a solid team that can compete at the highest level.
“It’s just the beginning of the season, at the beginning of the season everyone is cautious,” Preko told JoySports.
“… when we start building up is when people will come here and fight to get the 3 points and that will make the season interesting. For now, what we are seeing is normal.”
The continental club masters play Bofoakwa Tano in their next game of the Ghana premier league.
