Two persons have been injured and 10 vehicles crashed following an accident at Civic Centre in Ho, in the Volta Region.
The accident occurred late afternoon on Monday, October 2, when the break of a truck loaded with sand failed.
The truck ran into 10 other vehicles which were parked by the roadside while driving down the Civic Centre area.

Also, two motorbikes were mangled and one electricity pole was also damaged.
The two people who sustained injuries were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, National Road Safety Authority, and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), were deployed to the scene to ensure the safety of road users and residents in the area.
